Kol Chadash Temple Youth
Congregation Kol Chadash's youth group offers social, educational and religious experiences for students in grades 8 to 12. Programs include camp experiences, retreats, shul-ins and more.
KoCHaTY (Kol Chadash Temple Youth) is a great way for teens to spend time with their friends from Kol Chadash. All events are social and fun. This is a great opportunity for students to begin to develop leadership skills.
To find out what's happening at the regional level level, check out the North American Federation of Temple Youth NorthEast Lake Region (NFTY-NEL) webpage. Cllick Here for the NFTY-NEL web site.
Tali Merdler is honored to join the Kol Chadash community and begin working with the talented youth of KoCHaTY.
Tali grew up at Suburban Temple where she was an active member of their youth group during her high school years. A graduate of Brush High School, she is pursuing a double major in Anthropology and Philosophy at Kent State University, with the ultimate intention of becoming a cantor for a Reform congregation. The past three summers she has grown at the URJ Kutz Camp (the Reform Movement’s Leadership Development Camp) in Warwick, NY; as a participant, kitchen staff, and this past year as a Resident Advisor. After serving as regional president of NFTY-Northeast Lakes, she can’t wait to re-enter the vibrant and thoughtful environment youth group creates and to be back in the Cleveland area.
We are looking forward to a developing a great teen program at Kol Chadash and hope your teen will be participating in some of these fun events.
