Yom Shabbat, 12 Sivan 5775

Our History

Congregation Kol Chadash (A New Voice) was formed in 2004 to address a need for a Reform Jewish presence in Cleveland's southeastern suburbs. We are a congregation that is Democratic, Egalitarian and Participatory in governance, ritual and activities. It is based on a precept of cooperation rather than corporation. In June 2006, Congregation Kol Chadash became an official member of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ).

All are welcome to our family friendly services. It is our heartfelt belief that Mishpacha (family) is the key to the survival of our Jewish community. This congregation is devoted to creating an environment that is caring, multi-generational and inclusive. We value diversity, welcome interfaith families and encourage participation in services.

We offer Shabbat, Festival and High Holy Day services that are meaningful, uplifting and creative. We provide our congregants the opportunity to participate in and develop meaningful traditional and contemporary spiritual experiences. We also provide Jewish education for youth and adults which emphasizes familiarity with basic religious customs and Jewish ethics, bar/bat mitzvah preparations and other secular and religious activities.

We are committed in establishing a loving Jewish community of involved, spiritual and empowered congregants… a family of families… together building Jewish lives.
